About the program
Villgro and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) in collaboration with AFD (Agence Française de Développement), have launched the Swachhata Startup Challenge to nurture the evolving ecosystem of the Indian waste sector.

Eligibility Criteria
Startups must be registered in India or in collaboration with an Indian startup as a joint venture).
Solutions must address one of the four mentioned themes
Demonstrate a sustainable and autonomous economic model
Minimum Viable Product (MVP) should be ready or beyond that stage.
Solutions centred around digital technology and social impact.
For-profit startups with at least 3 months of operational history are eligible.
